Hey, y'all!
Sorry for the lack of posts! That's why I posted two chapters in one day. :)
I'm afraid you won't be getting another post until next Wednesday or Thursday. Levi and I are taking a four-day weekend and going hiking and camping. And as soon as I get a pack we'll upgrade to true backpacking.
I'm so excited to get out and spend this time with the hubs.
You know, there are so many things that can give you butterflies or settle your mind even more that you've found the right person. I feel so blessed that I have those moments every day. You wanna know what one was? I know you do. I know you want to hear something mushy and cute and so achingly adorable that it makes you want to puke just a little.
Yesterday Levi had been working outside all day in 40 degree weather with 25 mph winds. It wasn't pleasant for him. He came home cold, tired, and desperate for some snuggling. Well, after dinner, he was feeling silly (as we usually are) and he ran into the bedroom and burrowed under the covers. I ran after him, laughing, and snuggled up. He was so sleepy, and he asked me if I wanted to take a nap with him. I didn't really want a nap, so I told him I'd tuck him in and let him nap. He smiled sweetly, and a little sadly, and burrowed deeper into the blankets.
I went into the living room and turned on some Freaks and Geeks (and excellent TV show, and one I'd recommend) and began playing a computer game. I heard some rustling from the bedroom, and soon Levi wandered into the living room carrying pillows and our comforter. He said, "I missed you too much, so I'm coming out here."
Oh Lawdy, be still my heart. :)
I just love this man.
